Zweck der Gesellschaft ist die Förderung der Altenhilfe und des Wohlfahrtswesens sowie die mildtätige Unterstützung hilfsbedürftiger Personen, die infolge ihres körperlichen, geistigen oder seelischen Zustandes auf die Hilfe anderer angewiesen sind.
Dies geschieht vor allem durch stationäre Behandlung, Pflege, Betreuung und Rehabilitation von körperlich, geistig oder seelisch kranken und alten Menschen im Sinne evangelischer Diakonie als Lebens- und Wesensäußerung der Evangelischen Kirche und in praktischer Ausübung christlicher Nächstenliebe in den von der Gesellschaft betriebenen Einrichtungen und Diensten.
Die Hilfeleistung erfolgt ohne Rücksicht auf Staatsangehörigkeit, Konfession, Herkunft, Geschlecht und Wohnsitz. Ziel der Gesellschaft ist es insbesondere, die Fähigkeiten der pflegebedürftigen Menschen zu erhalten, zu fördern und damit deren Unabhängigkeit und Wohlbefinden zu ermöglichen.
Der Satzungszweck wird verwirklicht insbesondere durch den Betrieb und die Unterhaltung von stationären Altenhilfeeinrichtungen. Insbesondere betreibt die Gesellschaft das Alten- und Pflegeheim "Heywinkel Haus" in Osnabrück.
Die Gesellschaft kann auch Leistungen im Bereich der Kurzzeit- und Tagespflege sowie der offenen Altenarbeit und Seniorenberatung erbringen.
Ferner kann die Gesellschaft Einrichtungen des Betreuten Wohnens sowie Rehabilitationseinrichtungen unterhalten, betreiben und mit Leistungen versorgen sowie Hospizarbeit leisten.
Zweck der Gesellschaft ist darüber hinaus auch die selbstlose Förderung der Evangelisch-lutherischen Landeskirche Hannovers. Dies geschieht insbesondere durch das Abhalten von Gottesdiensten in den Einrichtungen der Gesellschaft, die geistliche und seelsorgerliche Begleitung der Bewohner der Einrichtungen der Gesellschaft durch Pastoren und Diakone, Sterbebegleitung und die Bereitstellung der Heiligen Schrift, Gesangbüchern und vergleichbaren Schriftwerken. mehr ... zuletzt aktualisiert am 11.
